CeLToR wants to create and apply knowledge for the sustainable and innovative development of tourism and leisure, thus contributing to improving the quality of life.
CeLToR brings together an outstanding body of researchers with knowledge in a range of relevant disciplines that can be linked to a wide range of strategic and innovative issues in tourism and leisure.
CeLToR wants to create new partnerships between science and practice in academic workshops in order to generate new knowledge and insights.
11th January 2012, ANVR together with CeLToR and IUCN Netherlands (International Union for Conservation of Nature) organised the "Changes in tourism" event at the Dutch Tourism Expo. More information about this event can be found here.
The Leisure Panel is an initiative of CeLToR. The research of the Leisure Panel is always related to leisure, like tourism, recreation, sports, culture, media etcetera.
